Cima de Gran Canaria

This stage born as a new event after the exit of the «Pico de Las Nieves Climb» of the Gran Canaria Bike Week, to become an event of its own. In this way, we will climb again to the top of the island in a 124 km stage, with 2700 m of positive difference in altitude for the most intrepid. Start from Maspalomas, passing through Agüimes and Ingenio, to reach Telde and start the ascent through Cazadores to the Pico. Afterwards, it will go down through Ayacata again to Maspalomas. In addition, there will be two other categories: Starter, which will only do the last part of the ascent from Cazadores, and Advanced, which will start from Agüimes, to continue via Ingenio and Telde and do the whole ascent to the summit.
